Seven years after the show we had of Bennie's work at the Skylight Gallery I had finally started scanning his negatives onto my computer when I got an email from Harlan Greene who worked at the College of Charleston in the Addlestone Library. Harlan had gotten a copy of the catalog from the show and wondered if there were more photographs of C of C buildings that had been demolished. One of his students was writing her thesis on some of these buildings. I was amazed because I knew he had not gotten the catalog from me and I thought I was the only one who had catalogs. It turns out that he had gotten the catalog from a used book store. We emailed back and forth and the upshot was that Bartow, Dunlap and I donated all of Bennie's negatives that I have to the archives at the C of C so that people now have access to them! If anyone else has negatives I encourage them to do likewise!
